In addition to our regular lab analysis and reporting, we offer advisory services to our clients where they require more detailed assistance in the development of longer term soil fertility management programs and/or short term crop feeding fertilizer programs.

In addition to these detailed programs which are custom designed for your farm, we also offer introductory training programs on how to improve your soil fertility and crop nutrient management.

The three advisory service solutions we offer are:

1. SOILWISE PROGRAM: Medium to Long term Soil Fertility Improvement Programs

2. CROPWISE PROGRAM: Short term Crop Feeding Programs

3. TRAINING PROGRAMS : Introduction to Soil Fertility and Crop Nutrient Management

These programs are designed by Jeremy Cordingley our Managing Director. Jeremy gained an MSc in Tropical Crop Production and also in Soil Fertility Management at the internationally recognized University of Reading (UK) in 1996/1997 and returned home immediately to Kenya to focus for the past 10 years on improving farmers understanding of soil fertility and crop nutrition management throughout East Africa.

For the SOILWISE or CROPWISE programs, soil test results are required, as they form the basis of short term feeding programs and medium to long term soil fertility improvement programs. WE need a recent (last 3 months) soil test result from each field that is to be included in the program. WE can also help you with soil sampling on your farm if required (read Free on-farm soil sampling). Please note that we can only use soil test data from our own laboratory as we have full knowledge of the methods used and understand what the numbers produced actually mean for the farmer. Different labs use different methods and produce very different results and these cannot be interpreted the same.

For the SOILWISE or CROPWISE programs, charges are time based and will normally include a farm visit, field and crop observations, data collection and interpretation and a final recommendations report. Please email us with your specific request and we can then quote you once we have all the details.
