With our local laboratory facilities, we are in unique position to help communities and their environment with regular scientific monitoring. This information assists these communities in making the best decisions for the future of their immediate environment.
We are working closely with the LNRA (Lake Naivasha Riparian Association) to monitor the water quality of Lake Naivasha.
Every month we are analyzing 6 samples for LNRA free of charge to determine critical water quality parameters. These are:
- pH
- EC
- total suspended solids
- colour
- soluble nitrates
- soluble phosphates
- Total Nitrogen
- Total Phosphorus

The six samples are from six GPS referenced locations. The samples are taken from the same locations every sampling, so the LNRA can monitor water quality trends accurately at each site. This will supply valuable information for all communities benefiting from the natural resources of Lake Naivasha and its watershed.
