“At Ol Donyo over the last seven years we have nearly managed to double our arable yields. This would not have been possible without our close relationship with Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services. Their continual work, information and recommendations have been integral to what we have been able to achieve."

“As a BASIS and FACTS trained production person i have this advise to my fellow farmers: Manage your soils well and you shall sort out 80% of crop protection / nutrition issues. How to go about it is by using experts like Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services who have assisted my company to grow the best crops with little malnutrition issues.
Why we selected Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services is because when I invited their expert to the farm he gave me a five year soil nutrition management plan which included other strategies on top of analyzing soils which is their principle service. In addition they offer advice on crop rotations, cultivation methods, improving drainage and soil mapping methods etc.
For that, long live Crop Nutrition and may you continue bringing in new ideas and technologies as you always do.”

"For the past 4 years, Oserian Ltd has received good analytical and technical support services from Crop Nutrition Lab Services. They analyze a wide range of samples for us and follow up with useful technical advisory visits where they work with our agronomists to fine tune our crops nutritional programs. We have seen noticeable improvements in some of our crops after implementing their advice."

“We sent many soil samples to Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services from our tea farmers in Thika district (Makomboki Tea Factory). After getting the lab results, Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services technical people supplied us with a specific fertilizer formulation for these soils. This fertilizer worked well. The average yield in this area has been 450 kg/Ha per month but after applying the correct fertilizer blend, the average yield has now increased to 670 kg/ha/month, which is about a 50% increase in yield. The farmers now want to adopt this new fertilizer blend over the traditional fertilizer.”
"Crop Nutrition Lab Services has helped us to improve our soil health through careful management of soil nutrients and soil biology. They carry out soil testing for Lobelia and advise us on fertilizer programs, soil conditioning, compost and organic biological amendments. The healthy condition of our soils allows us to grow top quality roses with low fertilizer costs, feeding at an EC of only 0.8 – 1.0".
"This is simply to thank you for the excellent support you have provided to us, both in terms of the quality of your analyses as well as the solid advice you continue to give us. As you will recall – Kaweri is the only large scale Robusta plantation in Africa (that we are aware of) and thus we have to develop all our farming practices from scratch – as there is no existing “recipe” for growing Robusta in E. Africa. This includes careful assessment of our soils (and leaves) so as to develop the most appropriate fertilizer programs, both for economic yields during these times of high fertilizer prices and, to ensure the long-term productivity of our 2 million coffee bushes! Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services has been an active partner in developing our farming practices and your leaf/soil analyses, together with the exemplary Analysis Report Sheets, provide us with very valuable input in ensuring this project develops on a sustainable and profitable basis. Thank you."
"Working with Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services (CNLS) over the past 4 years has really helped improve the quality of our greens. Every year we send samples to their lab and from the results, they give us a fully balanced fertilizer program for our greens. Compared to the condition of the grass on our greens four years ago, we have have seen better grass cover , improved root structure, resistance to disease, and a very uniform surface throughout the year. We are now also starting to take a more serious look at improving the grass quality on the fairways through improved soil nutrient management.”
